The Performance Matrix – Improve Performance & Stay Active
We specialise in finding, analysing and correcting movement faults in athletes and all active people.
Our Movement Consultants use The Performance Matrix Movement and Performance Screens (TPM Active) to identify uncontrolled movement (weak links) when carrying out movement and performance screens. The Performance Matrix is the most accurate and powerful movement screening, analysis and training system available on the market currently, allowing you to maximise your training time. You will know where you can push harder and where to develop more control to help movement efficiency, improve sporting performance or decrease injury risk, it is focused on your goals and targets.
Movement and Performance Screens are functional movement tests, designed for active people of all abilities. We record the results of the movement tests on an online system. A unique algorithm produces a report detailing the site (back, hip, shoulder), direction (bending, extending, twisting) and threshold (low postural focused issues or high fast fatiguing activities) of uncontrolled movement and any related restrictions present. The threshold is the difference between low level activity, which is postural activities, and high level activity, involving speed and strength.
Once weak links are identified in the movement chains our practitioners are able to explain these issues and prescribe very specific strengthening and stretching programmes, along with rehabilitation programmes when necessary, to allow for better development of movement health in all sports and activities.
